Lies of P Shares New Gamescom 2023 Trailer Showcasing Some Pretty Tough Looking Enemies
Neowiz released a new cinematic trailer for the Round8-developed Souls-like action RPG Lies Of P, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on September 19, 2023.
The trailer is focusing on the content they will be sharing during Gamescom 2023. Titled, How Many Lies, viewers get the chance to get a preview of some tougher enemies they’ll encounter during gameplay. For those who have played, I’m sure it’s no surprise the game is challenging, so we’re looking forward to figuring out the best ways to take down these foes.
Pre-orders are currently open for the digital standard edition, which comes with the “Mischievous Puppet’s Set” outfit, while the deluxe edition adds the “Great Venigni’s Set” outfit, a unique mask, and grants players access to the game three days early.
The physical version features an exclusive SteelBook tome-inspired collector’s box alongside a 92-page art book. Bonus digital items include the original soundtrack and “The Great Venigni’s Set” outfit, and a unique mask to be worn to the festival. A physical standard edition is also available.
The game recently went Gold ahead of launch, meaning it’s ready to be shipped to players.
Lies Of P tells a dark story of Pinocchio. Players assume the role of the beloved character and must navigate through a dark Belle Epoque world where dread is found around every corner. The once-beautiful city of Krat has become a living hell, and Pinocchio will need to find Mr. Geppetto to unravel the mystery of what happened.
Players will need to navigate the streets as Pinocchio faces off against demon-like enemies. To assist, systems such as weapon and item creation are available. However, the feature of lying is implemented where the more you lie, the more human you become, with all the advantages and disadvantages that entails. It sounds quite unique, not to mention the characteristics of the source material.
