Lies of P Announces November 2023 Weapon Balance Patch, New Cosmetic Options, Soundtrack Release; DLC Concept Sketches

Neowiz and Round8 have shared a new director’s video detailing the future of their souls-like action RPG Lies Of P.

An update patch is planned for November 2023, primarily adjusting weapon performance from the assemble system. Additionally, to ease the game’s early hours, the protagonist will get the Rising Dodge ability as a default skill, eliminating the need to unlock it from the P-Organ. Polendia will sell two additional Quartz from the first stage of his shop, too.

The costume of Alidoro, including his mask, is planned to arrive in November, alongside the option for extra facial accessories, like wearing glasses and hats simultaneously. Other new cosmetics include The Alchemist’s Hat and a brand new pair of glasses.

Moving on, a Lies of P soundtrack release has been announced, totaling over 60 tracks. However, no release window was said.

Lastly, two concept sketches for the DLC were unveiled, viewable below:

Lies Of P tells a dark story of Pinocchio. Players assume the role of the beloved character and must navigate through a dark Belle Epoque world where dread is found around every corner. The once-beautiful city of Krat has become a living hell, and Pinocchio will need to find Mr. Geppetto to unravel the mystery of what happened.

Players will need to navigate the streets as Pinocchio faces off against demon-like enemies. To assist, systems such as weapon and item creation are available. However, the feature of lying is implemented where the more you lie, the more human you become, with all the advantages and disadvantages that entails. It sounds quite unique, not to mention the characteristics of the source material.

Lies of P is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on September 19, 2023.
