The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Coming West for PS4 and Nintendo Switch

NIS America announced that their adventure puzzle platformer The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince will launch in the west in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Sadly, the west will not receive the PlayStation Vita version of the game, which released in Japan in May 2018.

The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince tell the story of a wolf who lives alone in a forest. One day, a young prince heard the voice of the wolf and ventured into the woods every night to see who could be singing. Evidently, on the night that the prince finds the wolf she is startled and swipes his face, leaving him blind.

Following the event, the prince must find his way back to his home with the help of the wolf, who he thinks is a beautiful princess.

Similar to past releases from this development team within Nippon Ichi Software,  htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary and Yomawari: Night Alone, these characters will most likely suffer many deaths along their journey.

Author’s take: I’ve been a fan of these small indie puzzle titles since htoL#NiQ released. They are dark and morbid and always have a deep story to tell. I’m excited to feel whatever heartbreak this new title brings on.
