Bandai Namco has announced that the LEVEL-5-developed action JRPG, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, also via Game Pass. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, too.
Additionally, the version of the title added to Xbox is the Prince’s Edition, which includes all DLCs.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was initially released in 2018 and told the story of a friendship between Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum and a mysterious visitor named Roland Crane. The two work together to bring peace back to the world and reclaim the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell, which was taken from Evan during a coup. Players can take part in battles as they explore various dungeons and a large overworld map. Further, aside from the main campaign are side-missions to help citizens.
With LEVEL-5 now making a resurgence in the West, the hope for a third mainline entry is growing once more. The developer has many other significant projects in the works, so a third Ni no Kuni probably won’t be announced for a while. Still, we can dream.
