Another Indie announced that the Semisoft developed PlayStation-era inspired RPG Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds will launch digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 3.
Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds features a prerendered hand-drawn world, similar to what fans who have played titles like Legend of Dragoon would easily remember. Players must embark on a quest as a newly freed slave named Finn. Throughout his adventure, players will discover a secret that he carries with him. Even he doesn’t truly understand due to his memory loss.
Gameplay features exploring towns and dungeons as the party grows and completing numerous quests to progress the narrative and see Finn’s story to the end. The battle system features turn-based combat where players can add extra power to their attacks by pressing a button at the correct time. Furthermore, there’s also a tactics-like combat system featured in the game where players can control an entire military force to put a stop to approaching enemies.
Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds is available now on PC-via Steam and Nintendo Switch. You can read our Switch review now where we praise the game on its mechanics, characters, and story. Legrand Legacy is a game created for anyone craving a classic JRPG adventure.
