Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have announced that the Switch 2 version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on September 18, 2026.
Developed by TT Games, this new entry melds moments from Batman’s 86-year history. The roster includes seven playable characters at launch: Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. Each comes with distinct gadgets and combat abilities, such as Batman’s Batclaw, Catwoman’s whip, and Gordon’s foam sprayer. Gotham’s villains will also appear, including The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul, and Bane.
Combat boosts fluid chains, gadget use, and takedowns. Gotham City is an open-world hub of puzzles, crimes, hidden rewards, and well-known locations. Players can also hop into vehicles, with various Batmobiles and Batcycles confirmed.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
