Layers of Fear (2023) Cinematic Opening Reveals Steam Demo Coming Next Week
Bloober Team released a new cinematic trailer for their environmental horror game remake, Layers of Fear, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in June 2023.
The trailer shows off the cinematic opening of the game, where players can get a sense of what’s ahead. Further, it shows off the visuals that the team has put together utilizing Unreal Engine 5 technology.
Additionally, the trailer revealed that players will be able to play a free demo on May 15 on Steam.
Players can look forward to Layers of Fear, Layers of Fear 2, all of the DLCs, and the new “The Final Note” chapter, which provides an alternate perspective on the first game’s storyline. Further, the never-before-told story of The Writer, tying the entries together, will be implemented.
Layers of Fear 2 was initially launched in 2019 as a first-person horror adventure. The game is a story-driven exploration title where players discover the past of the character they play as. Uncovering this past opens a few wounds, but strange things happen around you while you do this.
