Sekai Project announced that the Innocence developed visual novel Last Stanza will release on PC-via Steam on November 9 for $7.99, available also for Mac OS and Linux.
Last Stanza is a kinetic visual novel that tells a deep story of a group of students. The game’s story tells of how one must open their hearts to friends in order to find a place for themselves. The game has a few major characters such as Beatrice and Liam who are childhood friends who probably should be more than friends, but Liam fails to notice anything like that, typical. There’s also the literature club (no, not that literature club), of longtime friends who will play a large roll in the story.
It seems like this is one of those visual novels that will attempt to pull on your heartstrings a bit so it’ll be interesting to see how the community picks this one up. Additionally, this looks like the first major release from this developer, so I’m eager to see how things play out and if we get to see more work from the team to either continue these character’s stories or start new ones.

Author’s take: I’m down to check this game out, I could use a good slice of life right now.
