The Last Remnant Remastered Gets Launch Trailer Showing Gameplay and Story
Square Enix released the launch trailer for their remastered RPG The Last Remnant, available now on PlayStation 4.
Originally released in 2008, The Last Remnant released at a time when JRPGs were not as popular as they are on today and a console that wasn’t really known for its JRPG catalog, The Xbox 360, we lived in a different time back them.
This remastered version of the game allows players to play through the game with refined graphics and character models using the Unreal Engine 4. This updated version of the game also has improvements to the game’s battle system and various balances throughout the game.
Now in its 10th anniversary, The Last Remnant tells the story of Rush Sykes as he fights to find his kidnapped sister and happens to find what is known as a Remnant. These artifacts grant the user a great deal of power and he will use that to find his sister.

Author’s take: It’s been a while, but I’m excited to see how this game has aged. I will definitely be putting in a lot of time, as I once did because this is a game that probably released a bit ahead of its time.
