Loot Collection Action RPG ‘Lapis x Labyrinth’ Get Western Release Date on PS4 and Switch

NIS America announced that their action RPG Lapis x Labyrinth will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on May 28 in North America and May 31 in Europe.

Additionally, the game received a new gameplay trailer detailing how the players will get loot and take on missions. Evidently, the first step is to defeat enemies found on the field, easy enough. However, enemies get larger and much harder at the end of dungeons. Lastly, dying in the game should be avoided.

Lapis x Labyrinth takes place in a small kingdom that has encountered low financial times. However, all hope is not lost since the kingdom just so happens to be sitting on a trove of treasure. Players will journey into the Labyrinth in search of all the riches they can carry with a customized crew of adventures. Furthermore, players will create a party size of up to 4 as they utilize the stacking mechanic to carry out attacks.

Author’s take: This game looks adorable so you can be that we’ll be picking it up and getting a piece of that loot. I’m only worried if the gameplay loop will stop there, I’d like to see how deep the weapon customization goes and how many dungeons and enemies types there are.
