SRPG ‘Langrisser I & II’ To Receive Demo on All Platforms

NIS America announced that a demo is in the works for the Chara-Ani-developed SRPG Langrisser I & II, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 10, in North America, and March 13 in Europe, and March 20 in Australia and New Zealand.

While the demo doesn’t have a concrete release date, the publisher is currently putting something together to give players a chance to play the game. It contains 6 chapters across both games. The save data doesn’t transfer over, but you do get extra items for having demo save data present. It will also serve as a good introduction to the series and its SRPG systems.

Langrisser I & II is a collection of titles from an SRPG series that hasn’t really made a dent in the west, even though it is quite popular in the east. This collection of the games will tell the origin story of the series with high-definition visuals, reorchestrated music, and additional quality-of-life improvements to the gameplay and user experience that started this series.

Langrisser I follows the story after the forces of darkness descend over the kingdom of Baldea. Players will take their sword as Prince Ledin and fight toward discovering the source of the evil in the Dalsis empire.

Langrisser II sees a return of the darkness and follows the hero Elwn who attempts to navigate the war and determine which path to take that will lead him to peace during the conflict.
