Gemdrops announced their relaxing hangout games Laid-Back Camp Virtual: Lake Motosu and Laid-Back Camp Virtual: Fumoto Campsite will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC-via Steam, and iOS and Android devices in March and April, respectively.
Both games will be available for VR devices, including the Switch Toy-Con VR goggles, PS VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and smartphone VR goggles. Additionally, players can play a non-VR version as well; both the smartphone and Switch version supports the gyro-sensors, which allows players to tilt the screen and look around with the controller, or players can tap the screens to look around. The PS4 version does not have motion control support.
During Laid-Back Camp Virtual: Lake Motosu and Fumoto Campsite, players, will meet Nadeshiko and Rin as they embark on a camping adventure. The two friends take pictures together and eat food. Each game will have you control a separate character, Nadeshiko at Lake Motosu or Rin at Fumoto Campsite.
The developer also released a short teaser trailer that shows the two friends hanging out and a few scenes where they interact together. The game will feature English, Japanese, Korean, French, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese text support with Japanese audio.
