Dungeon-Crawling RPG ‘Labyrinth Legend’ Gets January Release Date on Switch

NIS America announced that the Shinobi Games-developed roguelite RPG, Labyrinth Legend, will launch on Nintendo Switch digitally on January 18, 2022.

Labyrinth Legend is a dungeon-crawling RPG that features retro pixel graphics. The game blends high action with easy combat mechanics for all skill levels. The game was previously released on PC-via Steam in 2020. This Switch version will feature a brand-new dungeon, story elements, and new items. Further, players can choose a new class, the Nightcrawler, to change up the runs.

Co-op has also been added where players can play locally with their friends to get through the challenging puzzles.

Labyrinth Legend is set in the kingdom of Kanata where adventures gather to take on a Labyrinth said to contain a lost royal treasure. Players choose their character from one of three classes, which each have their own move sets and abilities. As players venture further into the dungeon, the narrative is uncovered, but with each reveal comes new challenges. At the end of each dungeon, a boss awaits, which requires players to spend time leveling up their characters.

We’ll keep you updated on the game’s console release.
