Falcom President Says ‘Kuro no Kiseki’ Localization News Coming “As Soon As Possible”

The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki is the beginning of latest arc of the ongoing Trails series, taking place after the recently concluded Cold Steel Erebonia arc, and after The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki, releasing in the West as The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie.

Many fans are wondering when publisher NISA will make the announcement of a Western release, but no official one has been made to date. Currently, the publisher does have the game on Steam, but with only Japanese text options.

In an interview with PushSquare, Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo shared that there there’s “no official announcement ‘quite yet,’ the company hopes to share news on Kuro ‘as soon as possible.'”

While this isn’t the answer many fans wanted, it’s nice to know the team has plans. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any future news surrounding this series.

The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki takes place in Calvard, one of the central regions of the series’ setting, the continent of Zemuria. While there are several returning characters from the Liberl, Crossbell, and Erebonia arcs, there is also a slew of new characters, each with their own struggles, relationships, and goals that enhance the liveliness of the in-game world.

The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki is available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan and in Traditional Chinese and Korean via Steam from publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment. NIS America published the Japanese version on Steam.
