PQube revealed their teased project with developer Art Co. to be a visual novel titled Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2019.
Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa will be developed in partnership with the studio to assist on the creation of the game for the first time in the publisher’s 10 years of being a company. The team adds in a statement, “PQube puts all its expertise in to turn the classic high school story on its head, with a brand new universe where absolutely NOTHING is as it seems.”
Additionally, the publisher released the debut trailer for Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa which introduces character and questions if you can trust them. Players will enroll in Fujisawa Academy as a transfer student. However, in a supernatural twist, the protagonist has made a pack with Mon-chan, a demon fox, to have the power of Kotodama, which allows them to get the truth from anyone who lies to you.

Author’s take: You know we’re all about these supernatural themed visual novels so it’s cool to see what the students are lying about and hiding. I’m excited to see what PQube brings to the table.
