KonoSuba is Coming to Consoles With an All-New Sequel
Japanese developers Entergram has announced that a brand new dungeon-based RPG, based on the manga, anime, and light novel series KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, will be coming to consoles.
The game, which currently has no revealed title, is set to be a sequel to the first KonoSuba game developed by Entergram, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Labyrinth of Hope and the Gathering of Adventurers!. This mouthful of a game is a dungeon-crawler that originally launched on the PlayStation Vita and PS4 in Japan.
Entergram has made a teaser website for the upcoming title, though it’s understandably all in Japanese. There’s very little information on the site though, given that it’s only a teaser, but there is a neat piece of artwork to look at.
Prior to these console titles, KonoSuba has had a mobile RPG, titled KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, which is still in service and can be downloaded on the Google Play store. It’s a character-collection RPG that follows the story of the light novel with some original characters thrown in.
We’ll keep you updated on the upcoming KonoSuba game as more information comes out. If you want to get a feel for the tone of KonoSuba, check out Nexon Mobile’s YouTube channel, which has trailers from Fantastic Days.
