Konami has released their latest consolidated financial results report, providing overviews on the results of several of their projects and projected outcomes. Perhaps most notably mentioned within this report as simply a single sentence regarding Digital Entertainment is the following:
“We will also be selling Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) in an effort to preserve content that has been loved by our customers as commemroative art.”
In case you missed it, Konami began auctioning NFTs for Castlevania last month to celebrate the franchise’s 35-year anniversary. This has been met with expected disapproval from fans, so hopefully, these efforts from Konami cease at one point or another.

The latest Castlevania video game release is Castlevania Advance Collection. This collection includes Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and Castlevania: Dracula X. All regional versions of the titles are available to select and play through, and a gallery mode is also available.
The developer of the collection is M2. The company is known for working on many projects emulating older titles, having also worked on the Virtual Console and Sega Ages re-releases. In addition, they’ve also worked on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Contra Anniversary Collection.
Castlevania Advance Collection is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Nintendo Switch.
