New Hideo Kojima Game Rumored, ‘Overdose’; Features Mama’s Actor From ‘Death Stranding’

Gaming Publication, Try Hard Guides, has revealed that there is supposedly a new Hideo Kojima game in development titled Overdose. The source of this rumor states that players control Margaret Qualley (Mama from Death Stranding) wearing a blue dress, with swappable first-person and third-person perspectives.

No other meaningful details have arisen regarding this potential project. Still, it’s always best to not take this information as factual until an official announcement is made. It’s possible this title may be unveiled during Summer Games Fest or the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase.

Death Stranding 2 was seemingly confirmed by Norman Reedus earlier this year.

Check out our review of Death Stranding Director’s Cut’s PC version.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been enhanced and built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5. In addition, the developers intend to draw you ever closer into the world of Death Stranding by adding haptic feedback from the Dualsense controller.

Giving players the option of two picture modes performance that will feature upscaled 4k display and 60 FPS, and fidelity mode that will feature native 4k and 60 fps. With the addition of 3D audio with compatible headsets, this looks to be the best way to experience Sam Bridges’ story yet. Finally, for those who already started their adventure, your saves will be able to be transferred to Director’s Cut.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is currently available for PlayStation 5.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
