Koichoco “Love Elections and Chocolate” Coming West via NekoNyan

At Anime Weekend Atlanta, publisher NekoNyan announced that they will be localizing the sprite-developed visual novel, Koichoco “Love Elections and Chocolate” at a currently undisclosed time.

Notes: Takes place in the same setting as Aokana. It is currently 100% translated. KoiChoco will be censored with mosaics.

Throughout the title, sappy romantic Oojima Yuuki and chocolate-hater Sumiyoshi Chisato are childhood friends who attend Takafuji Academy, an institution boasting over 5,000 students. They’re members of the Culinary Research Club, which essentially just comprises them eating junk food with their friends.

Though unfortunately, the prominent Shinonome Satsuki ends up running for Student Council President and, if elected, plans to close all clubs that don’t partake in any meaningful activities. With that being the case, the group teams up, with Chisato persuading Yuuki to run for president. He’s initially not entirely interested, but the club’s passion convinces him otherwise.
