Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series Receving Physical Editions In Japan & Europe; No Word On North America

Bandai Namco has revealed that the upcoming release of Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will be receiving physical versions in Japan and Europe. Playasia has listed the former, with that version even including the English language. In addition, video game distributor xtralife has opened physical pre-orders on their website for European customers.

Unfortunately, there is no word on whether North America will receive a physical release for this remastered compilation. In the worst-case scenario, this will be a solely digital release for that side of the world.

During last week’s Nintendo Direct, the publisher announced that Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will be arriving to the Nintendo Switch on July 28, 2022. This compilation includes the first 2 games of the franchise, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil. These titles are beloved platformers, where players control the protagonist Klonoa traversing a myriad of environmental and enemy obstacles.

Further, these titles have been long rumored to be arriving as remasters due to several trademarks by Bandai Namco over the past year. We’re excited to replay these entries in a more modernized light.
