Yakuza’s Kiryu Appears as Free Skin DLC in Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise for Early Buyers

Sega announced that their action brawler Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will receive some free DLC for those who pick the game up around its launch on PlayStation 4 on October 2.

Between October 2 and October 16, Kazuma Kiryu, the main protagonist from the Yakuza series, will be available for free as a skin to owners of the game. While playing as Kiryu, players can experience the entire story of Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise as the leader of the Tojo Clan.

Evidently, this isn’t as awkward as it sounds because both characters are voiced by the same voice actor, Takaya Kuroda. It’d be interesting to see the range of the voice actors abilities as he takes on the role of different characters.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise stars series protagonist, Kenshiro, in an alternate version of the Fist of the North Star canon. After Kenshiro’s love interest, Yuria, has been kidnapped he must search for her beginning in the unforgiving city of Eden.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise currently has a free demo available on PSN.

Author’s take: I’m always up for some free DLC, especially ones as cool as this. I couldn’t think of a better character skin to use than a character played by the same voice actor.
