Kingpin: Reloaded Revealed in Trailer Reviving the Classic Shooter in 4K

3D Realms announced they’ll be reviving the Kingpin IP to release Kingpin: Reloaded, a remastered version of the game in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC with a planned release date for later this year.

Kingpin: Reloaded initially released in 1999 on PC. The game received a bit of fame thanks to its ultra-violent themes and colorful cast of characters. The game is set in a world that is ruled by the Kingpin, which that is backed with intimidations and bloody fists. One day, his lieutenant, Nikki Blanco, leaves a thug on the verge of death. That criminal then vows to seek revenge as he picks up a lead pipe and sets out to take back his dignity.

Kingpin: Reloaded will be enhanced to 4K resolution with ultrawide support. The game’s graphics have also been improved with a new Enhanced mode option. The game will have controller support, and there have been improvements made to the quests and conversation systems in the game.

Being that the game is violent, the developers have also included a No Violence mode. However, the language of the gangsters remains.
