Kingdom of Night Features Elements of Live Action Role Playing and Zombies Ate My Neighbors in New Gameplay Trailer

Dangen Entertainment released a new trailer for the Black Seven-developed action RPG, Kingdom of Night, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021.

The trailer highlights some of the game’s narrative, which takes place in the year 198X, in the small town of Watford, Arizona. One night, a satanic cult summons an evil known as Baphomet, and the town is thrown into chaos. John catches word that people close to have been kidnapped by demons, so he sets out to save them.

The gameplay of Kingdom of Night is presented with an isometric camera and features a narrative that builds on the characters’ relationships and their quest. There are themes of coming of age, cosmic horror, and true love to discover through the game. The game has an action battle system where players can use spells and abilities to take down enemies. Furthermore, the game features a 2-player local co-op to bring a friend with you on the journey.

Lastly, the soundtrack was arranged by composer Vince DiCola, who worked on Rocky IV and The Transformers: The Movie (which is arguably the best soundtrack of all time.)

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on Kingdom of Night’s development. There’s a Slacker Back campaign hosted by Fangamer for those who wish to help fund the project.
