Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience Receives Free Update Adding New Content

Square Enix revealed that the Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience they released earlier this year has received a free update for players to discover more of the VR world.

Part two of this VR experience has players play through a 10-minute interactive video that features music from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. During the game, players are able to unlock new content to get the most out of the game, but it is mostly just watching the series’ most iconic scenes play out before your eyes. Additionally, the game allows for some interaction as the player will be able to wield a keyblade and fight their way through some of the Heartless.

Currently, the game is available to download for free via the PlayStation Network, those who have downloaded already will only need to update their game as both parts are available on the same file. Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience was developed in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment and utilizes the “Virtual Projection Mapping” project to expand the visual experience of the game.

While this is an overall short experience, it’s nice to see Square Enix continue to support the free title. The developer also shared new screenshots showing gameplay.
