Kingdom Hearts Theorist Launches Magnificent Hour-Long Video Featuring Custom Music & Animation
Kingdom Hearts theory videos are pretty common, given the franchise’s ongoing mysteries and the lack of new content over the past few years. Several open-ended questions have been left for fans to decipher ahead of new game releases, such as the incoming Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link.
One Kingdom Hearts theorist, Sonny Novus, has made a prominent name for himself due to his high-quality videos. The first, positing many possibilities for the Master of Master’s true identity, made immense waves throughout the community.
Novus then made a few more videos before going silent on the theory creation until today. We never cover theories and such here, but this new effort by Sonny Novus deserves emphasis.
Titled “BRAINTEASER: The Basement Incident,” he goes into extensive and exhaustive detail about a popular topic in the Kingdom Hearts community: the case of the two Brains seen in the final scenes of Kingdom Hearts Union χ [Cross].
Multiple possibilities are presented with evidence and counterarguments, and it’s all exceptionally well told with solid editing. Select secret reports from Kingdom Hearts III are dissected in terrific detail, too. Still, this video goes even beyond those facets, thanks to custom music and animation.
The former is by David Russell, a well-known musician in the community from fan events like March Caprice. He crafted two tracks here, “Scent of Silence ~Scatterbrain” and “Dearly Beloved ~Brainfog~. They elevate the ominous and somber ambiance of this resulting effort, leading into the impressive custom animation work seemingly communicating the plight of Brain’s Chirithy.
If you’re an avid Kingdom Hearts fan caught up with the lore, this video is an absolute must-watch. You’re bound to gain valuable insight regarding Brain’s whereabouts with facts and connections you may have never come to. It also acts as an excellent recap of Luxu’s actions, which will undeniably be crucial for the narrative’s future.
Further, a potentially mind-shattering revelation from an old interview with Ray Chase, the voice actor of the Master of Masters, puts certain elements into new perspectives. But I’ll refrain from spoiling it here.

In Kingdom Hearts IV, Sora is in Quadratum with Strelitzia, a prominent character from Kingdom Hearts Union χ. This setting is an afterworld for the two characters following their tragic fates.
Additionally, this new saga has been titled the Lost Master Arc. Further, some combat footage was showcased, with Sora performing Keyblade transformations against a giant entity that seems to be a Heartless? We don’t know for sure.
“The heart resides within the soul, which in turn is guided by fate to its rightful place” is a crucial phrase used at the start of this trailer for the upcoming mainline game.
