Kingdom Hearts Series Finally Heads to Xbox One in 2020

During Microsoft X019 in London, Square Enix and Disney announced that the Kingdom Hearts series will release on Xbox One in 2020.

Joining the release of Kingdom Hearts III, the entire series will soon be available for fans to discover the story. I’m sure it was painful for those Xbox players out there who tried to jump into Kingdom Hearts III without playing the previous titles. However, you won’t have to worry about that anymore.

The games coming to Xbox One are:

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX

  • Kingdom Hearts Final mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
  • Kingdom Hearts II Final mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics)

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue

  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
  • Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage –
  • Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover (movie)

These two titles contain the full library of Kingdom Hearts titles in their definitive form.

Additionally, Kingdom Hearts III also received a free demo on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which allows players to play through the Toy Story level of the game and face off against the Rock Titan boss. The save demo does transfer over up to the end of the Hercules section of the demo.
