Kingdom Hearts May Be Getting Some New Anniversary Key-Art
The Square Enix cafe could be teasing some new Kingdom Hearts key-art on the anniversary date for the Kingdom Hearts series. Kingdom Hearts was released 20 years ago as of March 28th, so it makes sense that Square Enix would throw fans a little something on the landmark 20th anniversary.
Twitter user Miraculous Maku first tweeted the info earlier this morning. As you can see below, the site shows off the various key-arts for each Kingdom Hearts entry over the years, including titles like Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance. The “Now Printing” section is the real mystery here, and the fact that it’s set to be revealed on the aforementioned series anniversary hints at the fact that it may be some fresh new key-art.
You can check out the full post on Square Enix’s cafe website, though you’ll need to be able to read Japanese for the most part. At the very least, you can check out all the fantastic art from across the series’ 20 years of existence.
