Kingdom Hearts III Receives Brand New Trailer Featuring The World of Disney’s Tangled

Square Enix released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III during Lucca Comics & Games in Italy over the weekend.

The trailer focuses on the world of Disney’s Tangled and the introducing players to characters: Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Sora, Donald, and Goofy will join the duo as Rapunzel leaves her tower for the very first time only to encounter a group of Heartless along the way. Additionally, the trailer focuses on new combat that incorporates Rapunzel’s magical hair into the system.

Kingdom Hearts III is the latest entry in the Kingdom Hearts series of games. The game will feature many returning characters from previous entries as well as new characters and worlds. Gameplay features action based RPG mechanics that players will be able to level up to extend combos and special skills.

Kingdom Hearts III is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29.

In case you missed it, the game received new screenshots of characters from Twilight Town and a Big Hero 6 trailer. Also, the game’s English voice cast was revealed.

Author’s take: Square Enix is really keeping the momentum going with these Kingdom Hearts III trailers, they are putting a lot of marketing into the game and I hope it pays off for the series that is popular but hasn’t really broken into the mainstream casual gamer market.
