Kingdom Hearts III Shows Photo Mode and Mini-Games in New Screenshots

Square Enix released new screenshots for their action RPG Kingdom Hearts III, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29.

The screenshots give players a look at the game before launch, but most surprising, the screenshots prove that the game will have a photo mode that allows players to take selfies as sora. Furthermore, from the screenshots, it seems that other characters will pose in the frame for the shot for players to share their adventures with other players. Also shown was a cooking mini-game in the world of Ratatouille as well as a game and watch mini-games.

Kingdom Hearts III continues the story of Sora and his companions as they search for their friends and discover more about this mysterious world. Blending in RPG with Disney franchises, the game will also take players to the worlds of Monster, Inc., Big Hero 6, Tangled, Frozen, and more.

Author’s take: I’d love to use this feature while I’m hanging out with the cast of Big Hero 6, that was just a really good movie so I’m stoked to be able to explore the world within Kingdom Hearts III. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long.
