Kingdom Hearts III Manga Chapter 23 Now Available in English Via Yen Press
Yen Press has announced that Chapter 23 of the Kingdom Hearts III manga is now available in English from various retailers. Each of these retailers is listed on Yen Press’ official website. The price for the digital release of this chapter is $1.99 in the U.S. and $2.99 in Canada across each storefront.
This chapter takes place in Toy Box, one of the game’s first worlds. Sora and company reach Galaxy Toys, the central hub area of the world, and encounter one of the 13 Seekers of Darkness, Young Xehanort. This enigmatic, time-traveling threat has his own motives for disrupting the livelihood of this world’s inhabitants, as it ties to the upcoming Keyblade War.
The Kingdom Hearts III manga is being drawn by Shiro Amano, who has also worked on the manga for the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance have never received manga adaptations. Though, it is worth noting that events from Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage are being adapted throughout the Kingdom Hearts III manga.
