Kingdom Hearts III Reveals Cover Art, Big Hero 6 Extended Trailer, and Photo Mode?

Square Enix released a new trailer for their upcoming action RPG Kingdom Hearts III, coming to PlayStation 4 and PC on January 29.

The trailer introduces Kingdom Hearts’ protagonists Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the cast of Big Hero 6, Hiro Hamada, Honey Lemon, GoGo Tomago, Wasabi No-Ginger, Fred and their robot companion Baymax.

It’s interesting to see two groups of heroes join forces to protect a city ridden by the heartless. Similarly, it’s interesting to see Kingdom Hearts characters in real-world settings like San Fransisco. There is just a ton of story teased in this trailer much of which could be seen as entering spoiler territory for those who haven’t played the other titles.

Additionally, at one point in the trailer [2:30], sora is holding a camera as if he is taking a selfie with a monster. This photo mode feature has not been formally announced by the publisher, but it’s a great way to tease it for fans who have been asking for it.

Additionally, the publisher released the game’s cover art which includes much of the long-lasting cast members together under a starry sky.

Author’s take: These trailer are bringing me to tears, but I’m completely on board to dive into the world of Kingdom Hearts again and and hang out with these awesome characters.
