Kingdom Hearts Fans Upscale Opening Movie of ‘Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage’ to 4K via Machine Learning

A Kingdom Hearts fan group named KH-Vids has recently shared the opening movie of Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage in upscaled 4K resolution quality utilizing A.I. technology (Topaz A.I. Gigapixel V3.1.1). Additionally, a version without text is available, allowing fans to experience this opening movie in all of its majestical, cinematic glory.

Further, non pre-rendered cutscenes for this brief adventure have been made available in 4K 60 frames per second without subtitles, providing a new avenue to experience these scenes.

KH-Vids has also made the cutscenes of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix viewable in 4K with the implementations mentioned above.

You can view their cutscene archive on their website alongside their recent post detailing the efforts to deliver Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage in this quality.

The 0.2 opening is my personal favorite in the series, primarily due to its stellar visuals, and the clearly amplified visual fidelity present here makes me appreciate it more deeply than I ever did. Kingdom Hearts fans are a truly talented bunch.
