Kingdom Hearts Director Tetsuya Nomura Began Working On 20-Year Anniversary Art Yesterday

The official Japanese Twitter account for Kingdom Hearts has shared a message from franchise director Tetsuya Nomura, stating that the highly anticipated anniversary artwork is not yet ready, as he just began the illustration process yesterday. However, he is hoping for it to be concluded and unveiled by the anniversary event’s occurrence on April 10, 2022.

A translation of the message has been provided by our team’s Ryuji, viewable below:

Good evening. Thank you all for the 20th anniversary messages. The 20th anniversary event is not quite ready, so I don’t have anything prepared for now. I have begun on the 20th anniversary illustration since yesterday, and I can’t wait to unveil it when it’s done.
