Kingdom Hearts Content Creator Explains Thought-Provoking Game Parallels To Norse Mythology

With the conclusion of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], many fans have been engaging in reflective retrospect, analyzing the title’s full story. One such fan, a Kingdom Hearts content creator known as Landi Lodge, has recently shared his thoughts on how the events of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] seem to parallel Norse mythology, particularly the events of Ragnarok. Landi brings up several direct parallels that seem more intentional than coincidental. Further, with Kingdom Hearts Dark Road having characters straight-up named from Norse mythology, like Baldr, these Norse inclusions come off as definitely deliberate.

With this knowledge in hand, one can dive deeper into Norse myth to potentially construct ideas of what future implications the Kingdom Hearts franchise has in store. Regardless, this analysis by Landi is still undeniably impressive and admirable, granting an idea of how intricately crafted the Kingdom Hearts storyline is.
