Kingdom Hearts will be part of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, with Disney announcing a dedicated panel celebrating the action RPG series’ 25th anniversary. The game has appeared at the event in the past, revealing a much-anticipated trailer for Kingdom Hearts III in 2017.
The presentation, titled “DEEP DIVE into KINGDOM HEARTS,” is scheduled during D23, which takes place August 14–16, 2026. According to Disney, the panel will look back at the history of the franchise and its collaboration between Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix.
Attendees can expect appearances from members of the development team, voice cast, and other contributors who helped shape the series over the past 25 years. Disney has not confirmed the guest lineup or shared details on whether the panel will include announcements related to future Kingdom Hearts projects, including Kingdom Hearts IV.
Originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2002, Kingdom Hearts has grown into one of Square Enix’s most recognizable franchises. The series has spanned numerous console and handheld releases, culminating in Kingdom Hearts III in 2019, while Kingdom Hearts IV remains in development following its announcement in 2022.
The Kingdom Hearts panel is part of D23’s all-day programming lineup, which features presentations covering Disney films, television, theme parks, animation, and games throughout the three-day event.
