King of Fighters XV Screenshots Leak Ahead of Reveal Showing New Graphics and Early Roster
Earlier today, SNK decided to delay the announcement for King of Fighters XV, which was planned to release along with the new characters for Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3. However, the publisher decided to instead launch King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 in Europe, with a North American release planned for January 20.
Well, it seems that a website jumped the gun a bit with posting as they shared early screenshots of King of Fighters XV inside of the article that they were supposed to be sharing news about King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition. This edition of the game is an updated version released in 2016 with 8 DLC Characters, 10 DLC Costumes, and 10 PS4 Home Themes, which features characters from the roster of 58 characters.
Back to the screenshots, King of Fighters XV looks to be using an updated version of the Samurai Shodown cel-shaded graphics, making the entire game appear bright and cartoonish. Players can get a look at K, Kyo Kusanagi, Benimaru, and more of the roster of characters available in the game. It should be noted the more characters will likely be announced throughout the game’s development.
