Well, it seems that a website jumped the gun a bit with posting as they shared early screenshots of King of Fighters XV inside of the article that they were supposed to be sharing news about King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition. This edition of the game is an updated version released in 2016 with 8 DLC Characters, 10 DLC Costumes, and 10 PS4 Home Themes, which features characters from the roster of 58 characters.
Back to the screenshots, King of Fighters XV looks to be using an updated version of the Samurai Shodown cel-shaded graphics, making the entire game appear bright and cartoonish. Players can get a look at K, Kyo Kusanagi, Benimaru, and more of the roster of characters available in the game. It should be noted the more characters will likely be announced throughout the game’s development.
