The Moment We’ve All Been Waiting for, Mai Shiranui Revealed in The King of Fighters XV Trailer

SNK released new gameplay from their upcoming fighter The King of Fighters XV, coming in later in 2021.

This trailer focuses on who is arguably the most popular character in the series, Mai Shiranui. Players can preview her attacks and combos as well as some of her special techniques. Her stance highly resembles her classic fighting style and she is wearing a very similar costume.

The King of Fighters XV features some colorful graphics that allow the team to be a bit more playful with the roster and telegraph movesets easier, which is needed for such a technical fighting game such as this. The game will feature a main campaign revolve around Shun’ei and how he acquired his mysterious powers at a young age. The game will also have a story for other characters on the roster.

The full character roster has yet to be announced, but each couple of days we see a new character. We’re still waiting for Mai’s trailer, just like the rest of you.
