SNK has delayed the announcement for King of Fighters XV and the Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3 characters and instead released the launch trailer for King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition, available now on PlayStation 4 in Europe and January 20 in North America.
We speculate that the delay of the teased reveals was due to the political unrest happening in the United States, which might have been a good call to ensure fans are in the right mindset to rejoice over the reveal.
As for King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition, this version of the game includes 8 DLC Characters, 10 DLC Costumes, and 10 PS4 Home Themes. Players can choose from 58 different characters of this fighter that initially launched in 2016. The game features a traditional 3 on 3 team battle system with 3D graphics and balanced fighting mechanics. The themes in this edition each features a different character as the background.
A physical version of King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition will launch in Europe this spring. Players can purchase the title for $39.99.
