Aksys Games announced they will publish Otomate-developed otome visual novel Kimi wa Yukima ni Koinegau on Nintendo Switch in the west, most likely in 2022.
Kimi wa Yukima ni Koinegau is set in the first year of the Kyoho era on land ruled by the eighth shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune. The story is set in the city of Edo, where monster attacks have become more frequent, and everyone is on edge.
To help, the Tokugawa shogunate establishes the “Oniwaban” to fight back against the monsters and maintain order. This continues until year 11 of the Kyoho era, as a girl named Suzuno discovers a power where something bad happens when she sees a “black thread.” The villagers drive her away, and she comes across non-human characters and maybe some romance.
I should mention that these boys are anthropomorphized inanimate objects, but their names are Kinji (VO Namikawa Daisuke), Genjuurou Kuga (VO Satou Takuya), Outarou (VO Saitou Souma), Tomonari Takamura (VO Kobayashi Yuusuke), Kunitaka Toujou (VO Maeno Tomoaki), and Yoichi (VO Yamashita Seiichirou).
