Buyers can purchase the OVA to join Deardrops, D2b, and CaS in a 30-minute anniversary anime. Fans of Overdrive will notice that some characters are from their other titles, mainly Bokuten: Why I Became an Angel, which is also available now. The OVA features songs from the developer’s titles lead by singers, Siino Kirari and Kaguya Riho. Aine, the angel of love, also joins the group on guitar.
Additionally, the publisher released the PV of the OVA to give viewers an idea of what they can expect. Also, available is the Overdrive soundtrack.
Bokuten: Why I Became an Angel follows Kirinokojima Tomoe. A lonely young man, who finds himself at odds with the idea of love and happiness. He ends up meeting a girl named Aine, after shooting her out of the sky, who sings of love to fill the world with happiness.
Aine is special since she was born as an angel to spread the idea of happiness in the world, which is one reason she finds interest in Tomoe. The story follows his journey to discover his emotions as he must help Aine bring love to the world and bring couples together, much to his garden. Still, along the way, he may discover more about himself to make him and an overall better person and not so jaded.
