Publisher JanduSoft has announced that the Mitsuki Game Studio-developed roguelike arena shooter, Kawaii Slime Arena, will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on December 15, 2022. Although, the North American version of the game specifically will launch on December 22, 2022.
Throughout this game, players control protagonist Yui to defeat constant waves of slimes with several selectable weapons. Unfortunately, there’s some sort of plague going on with these creatures, and Yui is, for some reason, the only one capable or left of eliminating it. The slimes are pretty cute, though.
The gameplay elements aren’t really discussed much other than players being able to upgrade Yui to grow stronger and utilize different weapons.
The title will cost 5,99 / 5,99 € and contain subtitles for the following languages:

This publisher also released a game in a loosely similar vein titled Waifu Impact, which we reviewed, and it wasn’t great. It’s currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
Throughout this title is not related to Genshin Impact in any way, players find themselves at the illustrious Waifu Island. Six girls are here that players can grow closer with, and heightening their affinity leads to unlockables from the Gallery menu. Stars must be found throughout the island, which are stated to unlock the girls themselves. We don’t really know whether they are being held captive by the objects or such.
