Final Fantasy X Kabuki Theatrical Show Now Officially Streaming with English Subtitles Until October 2023

Square Enix has announced that to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of Final Fantasy X, the traditional Japanese theatrical “New Kabuki Final Fantasy X” is now available to view via purchasing a streaming ticket.

Both parts of the Kabuki show are included in one ticket costing ¥5,100, and this opportunity is only available until October 31, 2023.

This show is an adaptation of the Final Fantasy X story that was held in the Spring of this year at the IHI Stage in Tokyo. Additionally, the script was written by Hiroyuki Yatsu. “This kabuki play was crafted with the hopes of fusing the classic game that is Final Fantasy X and Kabuki, a traditional Japanese performing art, creating a bridge between the two,” stated main actor Onoe Kikunosuke.
