Just Cause 4 Shows Environments and Gameplay in Panoramic Trailer

Square Enix released a special new trailer for the upcoming sandbox adventure Just Cause 4, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 4.

The trailer is special because it is shown in a panoramic 4K resolution, which originally debuted during Paris Games Week. The trailer really highlights the level of environmental detail that has been put into this game. The series is known for its destructible and “do anything” worlds and the trailer gives a preview of the new playground powered by the Apex Engine.

Just Cause 4 is set in a fiction South America world of Solis. The game features fully simulated tornadoes and weather events. Players will assume the role of adventure badass Rico Rodriquez as they traverse the world and complete mission by any means possible.

Author’s take: The Just Cause series has eluded me for a long time, but I did find a moment to play Just Cause 2 a year ago and was immediately hooked. I found enjoyment in the destructibility of the world and overall craziness that can occur randomly while completing missions. So count me into this title, hopefully, it pushes the series in a good direction.
