Players Exist Alongside Well Known Shonen Alumni in First ‘Jump Force’ Story Trailer
Bandai Namco released a new trailer for their upcoming shonen fighter Jump Force, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on February 15, 2019.
Up until now, we’ve only seen new fighters announced. However, the newest trailer details for the first time how players will exist in the world of shonen characters and what everyone is fighting for. Evidentally, the player creates their very one avatar, customized with a large variety of costumes and skills and joins the Jump Force located at the Umbras Base.
Here, the players will meet many characters from other worlds known as Jump. The player now has the power to fight alongside them and learn their skills. The Jump Force is fighting back against the item ‘Onyx Book’, which has the power to remake worlds using destruction.
Additionally, the trailer gives a look at more of the game’s avatar customization.
In case you missed it, Asta from Black Clover was recently revealed in screenshots and we went hands-on with the game during the open beta weekend and gave our impressions.

Author’s take: This game just keeps getting better. I’m glad that they finally showed us the story. By using an avatar as the main character, the player can truly feel like a hero from a Shonen franchise.
