Jump Force Reveals Rurouni Kenshin Characters and Customizable Avatars in New Sceenshots

Bandai Namco released new screenshots for the Shonen Jump fighter Jump Force, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on February 15.

The screenshots reveal the newest characters added to the game’s expanding line-up, this time we meet Kenshin and Shishio from the popular Rurouni Kenshin series, which I enjoyed growing up.

Additionally, the publisher revealed new information about the game’s Avatar system, which allows the player to create a character to use while running around the online hub world and even in battle. These customizable options include mix and matching various costume elements and attacks from different Shonen series characters to create their own unique hero.

In Jump Force, players will create a party of three characters from Shonen Jump franchises. They will be able to switch between these characters in battle. We recently had the chance to go hands-on with the game during the open beta weekend and had a positive experience all around.

You can check the screenshots below showing the new characters and the Avatar customization features:

Author’s take: Rurouni Kenshi is dope and creating a sweet character is even more dope. I can’t wait to play this game through and create my perfect team of fighters, I have a pretty good idea of who I’d choose, but then new ones just keep getting announced.
