Bandai Namco announced that the Spike Chunsoft-developed Shonen Jump fighter Jump Force, will launch on Nintendo Switch the Jump Force Deluxe Edition coming later in 2020 for $49.99.
Jump Force Deluxe Edition will include over 50 playable characters from 16 different Weekly Shonen Jump franchises. This version of the game will also include all of the DLC characters from the Season 1 Character Pass.
“The casual pick up and play nature and multiplayer focus of Jump Force Deluxe Edition lends itself perfectly to Nintendo Switch,” said Stephen Akana, Senior Brand Manager for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. “The large roster of players, explosive battles, and new features means limitless fun for players.”
Additionally, the publisher revealed that they aren’t finished with updates for the title. A Character Pass 2 has been revealed for all platforms for $17.99 and includes five new playable characters, the first being Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia, and the rest coming from the following manga franchises: YuYu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Jump Force follows the story of how players will exist in the world of shonen characters and fight alongside them in a battle to correct evil wrongdoing. The player creates their very own avatar, customizes the avatar by choosing from a large variety of costumes and skills, and then joins the Jump Force located at the Umbras Base.
