Judgment Sequel ‘Lost Judgment’ Officially Announced for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S with Worldwide September Release
The day has finally arrived. Sega and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios have officially revealed the upcoming sequel for the Yakuza spinoff Judgment, Lost Judgment. This title takes place after the first and features Yagami returning to take on a particularly nasty case involving a notable guilty verdict. The trailer was shown in English dub, with the English voice actors from the first entry reprising their roles in this sequel.
In addition to the trailer, the director of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, Toshihiro Nagoshi, and several other staff members shared various information about this sequel, such as it supposedly surpassing the quality of the original game in many ways.
Yokohama has been added a new explorable location for Lost Judgment with the time day depicting the different sides of the city. A high school vital for the plot has been extensively modeled in great detail as well.
Combat has been enhanced from the original title, with the “Crane” and “Tiger” styles making a return. A new style known as “Snake” has been added too, which consists of turning enemy attacks back at them.
There are School Stories in the priorly mentioned high school that act as a contrast to the seriousness of the main narrative. During these stories, Yagami participates in activities with the students, such as minigames.
Lost Judgment is releasing simultaneously around the world on September 14, 2021, for PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5 and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
