JRPG ‘Lost Hellden’ Gets 2025 Release Window; Features Illustration By Gravity Rush Illustrator and Music From Tactics Ogre Composer

Artisan Studios announced they will release their upcoming JRPG Lost Hellden on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2025.

The project’s developers include illustrator Takeshi Oga (Gravity Rush) and music by Hitoshi Sakamoto (Final Fantasy XII, Tactics Ogre). Lost Hellden is set in the world of Era, a realm where the concept of sin weighs heavily on every inhabitant’s life. Each individual is branded with one of the Seven Deadly Sins at a young age, setting the stage for a lifelong struggle against predestined urges. Success in this struggle offers the promise of a place in the sacred land of Hellden, while failure condemns the soul to a fate far greater than death. This backdrop forms the basis for a JRPG developed by Artisan Studios, notable for its mature narrative and hand-painted art style.

The game features eight distinct characters, each offering a high degree of customization, allowing players to deeply engage with the story and combat system. Lost Hellden distinguishes itself with “Deep 2D” technology, merging 3D gameplay elements with beautifully hand-painted scenes enhanced by dynamic lighting and weather effects. The innovative combat system blends action and strategy, catering to various playstyles and emphasizing the thematic struggle against sin that defines the game’s world.
