Sci-Fi Adventure ‘Journey to the Savage Planet’ Gets PS4, Xbox One, and PC Release Date

505 Games announced that the Typhoon Studios developed sci-fi adventure Journey to the Savage Planet is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via the Epic Games Store on January 28, 2020.

To celebrate the release date, the publisher launched a new trailer showing gameplay that was revealed at Gamescom 2019. Viewers get a preview of the game’s alien regions and environments that make up just a portion of what they will see in the game. Additionally, the trailer shows up new creatures including Floopsnoot, a dangerous flying one-eyed creature.

Most importantly, the trailer reveals the new 2-player online co-op feature, which enables players to adventure and explore through this upbeat and sometimes comical world with within the game.

Journey to the Savage Planet takes players on a first-person adventure where they will set out to explore a bright and colorful alien world. While working as an employee of Kindred Aerospace, which is known as the “4th Best Interstellar Exploration Company,” players will find themselves on the planet of AR-Y 26, which is nowhere near anything. Arriving with hope to discover something amazing, but no real plan and little equipment, players will need to explore this new world and catalog alien flora and fauna as well as determine if this planet can be inhabitable for human life.
