Atlus Japan has uploaded a new trailer for ‘Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers’, showcasing some of the hero’s fancy attacks. There’s little in the way of new story information, but more footage of the leader of the Phantom Thieves laying waste to his foes is always appreciated. Joker is seen using all sorts of knife and gun combos as well as using his ‘wild card’ protagonist power to summon a variety of persona attacks. It seems that adding an extra flair to his moves has become even more part and parcel to his characterization.
You can watch the trailer below.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is a collaboration between Atlus and developer Omega Force. The game features Musou elements found in games like the Dynasty Warriors series. However, when it comes to Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers it seems that the developer will focus heavily on the characters and world-building as players will be able to interact with the other members of the phantom thieves, making the title an action RPG.
The game will be releasing in Japan on the 2nd of February for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. No English release date has been announced at this time; we’ll let you know as soon as that changes.
